Hello! I got my nails done on Friday morning, and they turned out like this… I’m not comfortable with them and they’re making me feel really insecure. Should I complain? Would it be fair to ask for a refund and have them removed? I paid €45 for them—it would’ve been cheaper to just buy press-on nails and apply them myself. I’m so disappointed…

Oh boy. You need to go to a nail tech that uses forms instead of tips, these are ready to take off.

I’m assuming you have extremely short nail beds that slope up. A good tech should be able to fix this.

The salon I work in doesnt tend to give refunds if you leave without saying anything tho. Maybe the one you went to will. My boss would offer a free redo with someone else.

  2. She should have done something to make them point straight or even a square shape to offset what it’s doing here. Just not working well with your nail beds at all I’m sorry I’d go back

  3. This has happened to my daughter, twice. At two different salons. I wonder if it’s the nail beds?

Hmm they are done badly. But from what I can tell.. are you a nail biter? There must not have been much nail bed to work with, especially if you bite to the quick and the skin kind of folds up over the nail. There might not be much that can be done. , either way I would go back and at least get your money back or get it fixed/redone.

What in the world…I am so sorry they did you wrong like that! I just do my own nails so maybe it’s not fair to think this way but I cannot fathom letting someone walk away with that set. That tech either doesn’t care about their work or doesn’t have the skills/experience for your nail type and wouldn’t say so for whatever reason. You’re completely justified in wanting a refund or to get them redone.
